Nathan Holland makes West Ham debut

Congratulations to Triple S Sports & Entertainment client Nathan Holland who made his competitive debut for West Ham on Tuesday evening. The 19-year-old came off the bench in West Ham’s Carabao Cup fixture against Bolton Wanderers.

Nathan joined The Hammars from Everton on a 3-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017. He arrived in east London with a wealth of international experience, having played for England since the age of 15.

He hit the ground running and scored his first goal in a U23’s victory over Leicester City in the Premier League Cup before going on to score in his next two matches, the third being the first ever U23 goal scored at London Stadium in the 2-0 win over Fulham. The tricky winger ended the season playing a key role in the U23s promotion to Premier League 2 Division 1.

Huge faith was shown in Nathan as he joined the first team squad for pre-season and featured in friendlies in Austria and Germany. Running on the pitch last was his proudest moment yet, he took to Twitter after the game to say: “Delighted to make my competitive debut tonight, a dream come true! Great win too, thanks for all the messages.”

Steven Beck, Head of Agency Services at Triple S commented: “Everybody at Triple S are delighted for Nathan and his family. He’s a brilliant lad with huge potential and it’s great to see that he’s settled well in since making the move from Everton. Hopefully this is the start of many games for him.”
